Stacy Contraguerro Bordas

Stacy Contraguerro Bordas graduated Summa Cum Laude and finished second in her class from the West Virginia University College of Business in 2004 with a degree in Business Management. It took Stacy only three years to complete her undergraduate degree and receive highest honors. Stacy went on to graduate from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2007.
Stacy consults and advises on cases while also being a contributor to the firm’s blogging efforts. A lifelong resident of Wheeling, West Virginia, Stacy graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School in 2001 where she was voted as the 2000 homecoming queen.
Stacy was a member of the girls’ basketball team where she received numerous honors, including all-state recognition her final three seasons. Stacy put her legal career on hold for several years to give birth to her six children.
She now consults and advises on complex litigation, particularly those involving business matters, children, and women. Stacy has also been active in the community, serving as a youth coach for several organizations, including St. Vincent’s Girls Basketball, St. Vincent’s Boys Basketball, Pike Softball, Elm Grove Baseball, WV Elite Basketball, Ohio Valley Pride Softball, and YMCA Boys and Girls Basketball. Stacy is married to Jamie Bordas, the managing partner of the firm. She is the daughter of Bob and Jody Contraguerro of Wheeling and has three brothers, Bobby, Tommy, and Josh.
