Attorney

Mike has practiced law for over 20 years in West Virginia and jurisdictions across the country.  He has spent the majority of his career representing individuals hurt by defective products and workplace conditions, but has also handled various other types of civil litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.  Mike also spent several years as the supervising attorney for a regional office of a large nonprofit public interest law firm, where he was part of a team providing legal services and community outreach for the benefit of low-income West Virginians, domestic violence survivors, individuals experiencing homelessness, and senior citizens.

Mike is admitted to practice in West Virginia state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.  He has also been admitted to practice in individual cases in over a dozen states and nearly 20 federal jurisdictions.  He attended West Virginia University and the WVU College of Law, where he served as a Legal Research & Writing teaching assistant.  He remains a member of the West Virginia University Alumni Association and the Mountaineer Athletic Club.
