Mike is a proud graduate of Wheeling Park High School (1989) and West Liberty University (2015) and worked as a news/sports reporter, anchor at WTRF-TV in Wheeling, WV from 1995 to 2015. He has covered major sporting events, spoken at numerous banquets, dinners, award ceremonies, career days, as well as offering play-by-play commentary for high school football and basketball games and other youth sports. Mike worked at Wheelhouse Creative in Wheeling, WV for 10 years, where he was part of the video production team and worked with local businesses on social media videos, television commercials, and projects at Oglebay Park, Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack and Victory Chevrolet. He is an essential part of the Bordas & Bordas Amateur Golf Classic at Oglebay Park and a member of the Oglebay Park Men’s Golf Club.
Mike has been a member of the Bordas & Bordas team since 2025. He specializes in small-camera video production.
Mike is an avid golfer and basketball official and has been married to his wife Corey since 2004.
