Jodi Wood Cunningham
With a passion for helping others, Jodi Wood Cunningham began her legal career as a plaintiff’s lawyer and for several years worked as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for children. She was also appointed to serve as mental hygiene commissioner in Tucker County, W.Va. Jodi works directly with Bordas & Bordas clients as they seek representation against corporations that have done them harm.
A native of Moundsville, Jodi graduated from John Marshall High School in 1989 where she was a 3-year starter on the girls’ basketball team. Upon graduation, Jodi continued her education at Fairmont State College where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business administration. While at FSC, Jodi received numerous awards including being named an Academic All-American. She then went on to West Virginia University College of Law where she earned her juris doctor in 1996. On a personal note, Jodi loves the outdoors, sports and spending time with her family and friends. She resides in Marshall County, W.Va., with her husband, Tim and son, Matthew.
