Mesothelioma and Talcum Powder

One of the newly identified causes of mesothelioma is cosmetic talcum powder. One of the powders being identified most frequently is the “desert flower dusting powder,” which is a product manufactured by the Shulton Company.   A number of women throughout this country used this product when they were very young and have recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma.

There have been successful suits brought against Proctor & Gamble, and Whittaker Clark & Daniels, which supplied talc to the Shulton Company during the 60s and 70s.  A couple of these cases have gone to trial, with some people recovering damages in the millions of dollars.

I would urge those of you that suffer from mesothelioma and have used talcum powder to contact us to see if perhaps you may have a claim against those responsible for your disease.
