Because of Jasonās extensive experience and success in litigating unfair lending practices cases, he has been called upon by both national and state organizations to speak to other attorneys about how to handle those types of cases. He has spoken as close to home as Wheeling, West Virginia and as far away as Seattle, Washington. These events were hosted by the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the West Virginia Attorney General, the National Consumer Law Center, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trusteeās, the West Virginia Association for Justice and the Wheeling Academy of Law and Science.
Before attending law school at WVU where he finished among the top in his class and received the prestigious recognition as Order of the Coif, Jason obtained a perfect 4.0 average at Clemson University in its masters of accountancy program. He has successfully combined his financial background and his legal background to obtain successful results for many clients who have been bullied by large lenders and corporations.
Jason has also been involved in a number of non-profit and community projects. He is a former board member of Mountain State Justice, and a committee member for the Center for Consumer Law and Education- a Marshall University and WVU College of Law Partnership. Jason is also a proud member of Friends Church in Saint Clairsville, Ohio.
Jason is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of West Virginia and Ohio, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia and the United States Supreme Court.
