West Virginia Courts To Begin Reopening
On May 6, 2020, the Supreme Court entered a new covid-19 order. The judicial emergency in West Virginia is set to end on May 15. The temporary orders entered earlier will expire on May 15 and the state’s courts will begin reopening. The order addresses statutes of limitation, statutes of repose, deadlines under court rules and orders, and other important topics. The Supreme Court also has established covid-related protocols to must be followed by courts, attorneys, and others in courtroom proceedings.
