What’s for Dinner?

You’ve had a long day at work, it’s finally time to go home and take a load off. One of the first questions you’ll probably get asked once your settled in is, “What’s for dinner?”

We all know that dreaded question all too well. The following is an easy recipe that you can throw together even on your busiest night! There are just a few simple steps and it’s not much to clean up.

Cheesy Ranch Ground Beef Casserole

  • 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1.5 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups rice, long grain
  • 1 Hidden Valley original ranch salad dressing and seasoning mix packet
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet warm the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain and return to the skillet then add in the seasoning packet. Stir in the rice, peas, broth and 1 cup of cheese. Let simmer for 3 minutes. Then you want to transfer everything to a 9×13 baking dish and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining cheese. Bake for an additional 10 minutes and enjoy!
