Spring Cleanup

Spring has sprung, according to the calendar, but some green grass as well as blooming flowers are slow to start. The clocks have moved forward, though, and warmer temperatures are right around the corner, which brings a smile to everyone.

With spring fever in the air, it’s also a signal for a fresh start. We’re waiting to open the windows and clear out Old Man Winter. For me that means spring cleaning. Maybe it’s old school, but I find it rewarding. Each spring in my youth the walls were washed, the carpets were scrubbed, and the closets, basement and garage were cleaned out – every corner, nook, and cranny.

Each year my family takes advantage of the Ohio County Spring Cleanup Dumpster Days. There are many locations all over Ohio County with a great system in place to help. Below is the schedule and information. So, take a deep breath of that spring air and get to work!
