Do you find yourself snacking throughout the day on foods that aren’t the healthiest for your body? It’s safe to say we all do this from time to time. We grab what is closest to us and most times don’t think twice about what it is.

The following recipe is the perfect quick and easy snack to take on the go. All you need is a few simple ingredients and about 5 minutes of your time for preparation.

Protein Power Bites:

-2/3 cup creamy peanut butter

-1 cup old-fashioned oats

-1 ½ tablespoons honey

-1/4 cup of miniature chocolate chips

-1/4 cup flaxseeds

-1 scoop of your favorite protein powder

Mix the above ingredients together in a bowl. Let the mixture chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes and roll a spoonful into a ball. That’s it! Now you have a healthy, protein filled snack to help get you through the day.
