I happen to be one of those consumers who is easily influenced. If it’s interesting to me and it’s something that I like, I am more than likely going to try it/go out and buy it. Recently I have been seeing all over social media the same posts about a new laundry detergent mixture and recipes for instant iced coffee. After about the third video of each trend, I knew right away I needed to go to the store for supplies.
Apparently, there was a woman who stayed at an Airbnb and she noticed the towels and bedding smelled amazing. She happened to find out what the owner of the home was using and decided to try the mixture out for herself. Not long after, she posted about it on social media, and it has since gone viral. So naturally, I saw multiple videos of people trying this insanely good-smelling mixture and had to find out for myself if it was worth all the hype. Let me tell you it is! What you need is Gain Moonlight Breeze laundry detergent, Downy Ocean Mist Rinse and Refresh, Downy Ocean Mist scent beads and then Gain Moonlight Breeze fabric softeners for when it’s time to throw your clothes or towels in the dryer. I don’t know what it is about the mixture, but it smells amazing, and it is long-lasting!
The other trend that I have been seeing constantly is iced coffee made with instant coffee mix. This is one that I like to think I have perfected. There was one video in particular that influenced me to try the trend, and since then, I have seen so many other ways that people are making it. It’s fun to do and super easy to customize to your liking. My go-to right now is the Nescafe brand instant coffee. The idea behind this is to make a coffee concentrate, so you only need a scoop of coffee and minimal water. What I do is put one tablespoon of instant coffee and ½ cup of water in a 16 oz. cup. I mix it around until the instant coffee is dissolved, then fill the cup all the way up with ice. I will then pour in a little bit of Dunkin Extra Extra coffee creamer and fill the rest of the cup with Fairlife fat-free milk. It turns out delicious every time!
I think it’s fun to try new things and to search for trending items. I’m already a person who loves to shop and grocery shop so when I see the opportunity to hunt for something new, I’m all over it!
