Petitioners appeal the denial of "enhanced" attorney's fees stemming from the prosecution of their UTPA claim against Nationwide that resulted in a $600,000 verdict. The circuit court awarded the petitioners only their attorney's fees, costs and interest totaling $30,108.71 upon a finding by the court at the conclusion of the trial that petitioners had "substantially prevailed" in pursuing their Hayseeds claim, which Nationwide settled by paying the policy limit of $50,000.
