This case arises out of a conflict between how senior status judges' salaries are set in WV Code § 51-9-10 and a subsequent Administrative Order by then-Chief Justice Loughry which contradicts that code. Peitioner, seeks a writ of prohibition to prohibit State Auditor from issuing warrants for payments of compensation to senior status judges, in vilolation of WV Code § 51-9-10.
