Petitioners and defendants below, Alcan Rolled Products Ravenswood, LLC, a Delaware corporation, and Melvin Lager, its CEO, appeal the August 29, 2013, order of the Circuit Court of Jackson County that denied respondents' post-trial motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, or for new trial following a jury verdict awarding respondents and plaintiffs below, Sharon Griffith and Lou Ann Wall, non-economic damages in the amount of $250,000.00 each, and punitive damages in the amount of $250,000.00 each for their hostile work environment claims.
