Time to Break Out Your Crockpot

We have entered the “Ber” months which means the fall season is here! The temperatures outside this week may be a little deceiving but regardless I’ve still entered full fall mode. There are several activities that I enjoy this time of year, one of them being making delicious crockpot meals.

Imagine a cool day at home with all the windows open airing out the house, your favorite pumpkin candles lit, a football game playing on the TV, and a crockpot full of something delicious sitting on the kitchen counter. I can smell it now!

When it comes to cooking and following recipes, I always go for easy! That’s why I enjoy using a crockpot, you throw all your ingredients in the pot and let it go. I recently found the following recipe for Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken that I can’t wait to try!

What You Need:

-2 lbs. chicken breasts

-1 packet of ranch dressing mix

-1 8oz. block of cream cheese

-3/4 cup of cooked crumbled bacon

-1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

How to Prepare:

In your crockpot add your chicken, ranch seasoning mix, and cream cheese. Place your lid on and cook on low for 6-7 hours. After the time passes you want to shred your chicken and give a good stir to mix in the cream cheese. Add in your cheddar cheese and bacon and stir again until everything is evenly combined. Sounds easy and delicious!

I plan to add this creamy crack chicken to King’s Hawaiian buns to make sliders. You could also eat this as a dip with your favorite tortilla chips or veggies!
