The Season of the Crock-Pot
The fall season is finally here, although it may not feel like it outside just yet. I enjoy many things about fall; hearty crock-pot meals happen to be one of them. Crock-pot meals are always so simple: throw everything in and forget about it. I love a cool Sunday at home with the windows open and the smell of a delicious meal cooking.
Below is one of the easiest appetizers to make in your crock-pot: Grape Jelly Meatballs. I love to throw these on a few hours before the football games come on TV, making the perfect game-day appetizer.
All you need is a two-pound bag of frozen meatballs, two cups of BBQ sauce, one jar of grape jelly, and a fourth cup of sriracha. Place your meatballs in the crock pot, pour your sauces over the top, give a good stir, and let cook on low for three to four hours.
You can eat these meatballs alone or make a delicious hoagie with mozzarella cheese on top! Give them a try next time you’re looking for something quick and easy to make.
