National Toasted Marshmallow Day

National Toasted Marshmallow Day

National Toasted Marshmallow Day

August 30 is also known as National Toasted Marshmallow Day! When I think of a toasted marshmallow I automatically think of s’mores. Which is a top dessert/flavor of mine. I found a recipe I thought would be appropriate to share today in honor of National Toasted Marshmallow Day.

This recipe is for a Halloween s’mores dip. This dip is super easy and only requires two ingredients to make, Halloween Peeps marshmallows and chocolate chips. When I make this dip for Halloween this year, I plan to use the Peeps ghost marshmallows, Frankenstein marshmallows, and pumpkin marshmallows.

Follow this recipe to make the most delicious Halloween s’mores dip!

What you need:

-2 to 3 packages of Halloween Peeps

-2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to prepare:

-Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.

-Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with Crisco or butter.

-Spread the chocolate chips on the bottom of the baking dish.

-Cover the chocolate chips completely with Halloween Peeps.

-Bake until the marshmallows begin to look toasted, and the chocolate is melted, about 5-7 minutes.

That’s it! Enjoy with your favorite graham crackers, pretzels, strawberries or even just a spoon.
