March 2 is National Read Across America Day! Founded by the National Education Association 25 years ago in 1998, the goal of this day is to get kids excited about reading. This national day is also Dr. Seuss’s birthday!
This day is easy to celebrate, simply pick up a book and read! The book can be short, long, one you have read or one you want to read. Teachers and librarians will surely be celebrating this day with students! I am currently reading “Spare” by Prince Harry. I will celebrate by continuing to read. Whatever book you choose to celebrate with, we hope you enjoy reading today and every day!
