Winter is here, which brings freezing temperatures and snowy/icy roads.  Before you head out onto the roads, make sure you have certain emergency supplies in your car, so you’re ready for any type of situation.  With recent winter storms, we have been reminded how dangerous it can be if you are stranded in your vehicle during a storm with freezing temperatures.  Hopefully, we never find ourselves in a situation like this, but it’s always good to be prepared.  Here are just some of the many items you should keep in your vehicle winter emergency kit:

  1. First-aid kit;
  2. Cell phone and car charger;
  3. Blankets and sleeping bags;
