Farewell, Daylight Saving Time
Halloween is over, and it’s that time of year again. The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting longer, and Daylight Saving Time is coming to an end. This weekend, we will be turning the clocks back one hour, better known as “falling back”.
While some may mourn the loss of those extra hours of daylight, there are a few silver linings to look forward to. For one, we’ll be getting an extra hour of sleep, which is always a great treat. Additionally, the earlier sunsets will create a cozy atmosphere, perfect for curling up with a good book or a warm cup of tea in the evenings. With the time change comes Thanksgiving and then Christmas, making earlier darkness less noticeable due to the twinkling holiday lights.
So, as we say goodbye to Daylight Saving Time, let’s embrace the change and make the most of the upcoming season. With the way time flies, we will be springing the clocks forward again soon!
