I look forward to fall because it’s the start of the soup and stew season, which I love to make in big batches on the weekends.
Not only that, but I look forward to making fall goodies with my grandchildren such as owl cupcakes.
Owl cupcakes will be our new project this year. I try to find something different each year. We also get pretzel rods, dip them in chocolate and let the kids decorate them however they want.
Fall also brings the pumpkin carving contest we have that is so much fun. It’s amazing the ideas the kids come up with. You can’t always tell what the pumpkins are supposed to be, but that’s what makes it fun.
