Farmers’ markets are a great way to support small businesses and local communities! Twice a week from June to October entrepreneurs in the Ohio Valley set up shop to sell products that they put their love into every day. I was blown away by just how much the Ohio Valley Farmers’ Market has to offer.
In addition to all the amazing vendors, they set up an activity for the kids to put together in the kids’ corner, this week it was a pinwheel! A band or artist plays live music. The tasting tent is always something fun to enjoy too!
The website reads, “The OVFM encourages the growth of local farms small business by educating consumers on the benefits and importance of supporting the market’s vendors”. These small business owners are very educated in their products and are happy to talk about them. They will teach you how to use their products and answer any questions.
