The Martins Ferry Times Leader reported on Jamie Bordas' impressive $10,000,000.00 jury verdict in Belmont County, Ohio. The verdict which you can read more about here is one of the largest ever returned in the history of Belmont County. Click here  to read the Times Leader story.

Bordas & Bordas lawyers Zak Zatezalo and Chris Regan were also in the news when the West Virginia Record reported on a pair of lawsuits being handled by Zatezalo and Regan against the hotel/motel operator, Comfort Inn. The lawsuit alleges that the Comfort Inn and others negligently and recklessly subjected their guests to carbon monoxide poisoning. Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas that can cause respiratory, neurological, and cardiac symptoms, among other problems if it is inhaled. Because it is so difficult to detect and because carbon monoxide displaces oxygen, inhalation can even be fatal.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages against the hotel operator for wrongfully subjecting its guests to the dangerous gas.
