Education

Zak is a graduate of John Marshall High where he received statewide recognition for his achievements in basketball. Zak later graduated from West Virginia University with the highest academic honors (summa cum laude) in 1995 and was selected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a 2000 graduate of the West Virginia College of Law where he was selected to the academic honor society Order of the Coif and served as an editor on the prestigious Law Review during law school.
