Jason grew up in the Warwood area of Wheeling. He and his wife Jennifer live in Belmont County, Ohio with their three children
Jason and his wife are active members of the Vineyard Church of Wheeling, West Virginia and often participate in various fund raisers and community projects that are sponsored by the Vineyard Church, including in the church's commitment to the Free Wheelchair Mission.
Similarly, Jason and his wife are volunteers and fund raisers for East Richland Christian School.
Jason also volunteers as a timer or judge for the Belmont County Youth Summer Swim League, the Southeast Ohio/West Virginia YMCA Swim League and the Saint Clairsville Area Soccer Association.
