Jason Causey has become a leader in consumer law in the State of West Virginia. In 2011, Jason and the firm's founding partner, Jim Bordas, obtained a verdict of nearly $3,000,000 against Quicken Loans in a predatory lending action. Because of Jason's extensive experience in litigating unfair lending practices cases, he has been called upon by both national and state organizations to speak to other attorneys about how to handle those types of cases. He has spoken as close to home as Charleston, West Virginia and as far away as Boston, Massachusetts.
Before attending law school where he finished among the top in his class and received the prestigious recognition as Order of the Coif, he was the first student in the history of Clemson University to attain a perfect 4.0 average in its masters of accountancy program. He has successfully combined his financial background and his legal background to obtain successful results for many clients who have been bullied by large lenders and corporations.
