Since returning to the Wheeling area following his graduation from law school, Jamie has been active in numerous community activities. He served as the head football coach at Bishop Donahue High School in McMechen during the 2001-2002 school year. Jamie then joined the football staff at Wheeling Central High School where he has served as an assistant coach since the 2002 season. The 2002 Maroon Knights squad captured the West Virginia Class A Championship. Jamie continues to coach the running backs and linebackers at Wheeling Central. Jamie also serves on the Board of Directors of the Wheeling YMCA. In addition, he volunteers his time on behalf of the Roy Chambers Foundation, a charitable organization that provides assistance to needy children in Ohio County. Jamie is an active member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Wheeling. He also belongs to the Notre Dame Alumni Association and is a member of the Notre Dame Sorin Society.
