Bordas & Bordas Staff
Bordas & Bordas maintains its Wheeling offices in a beautifully restored, late 19th Century Victorian house on historic National Road in Wheeling. The building provides office space for Bordas & Bordas' ten attorneys, as well as its eighteen staff members.
Marilyn Bell
Marilyn is Jason Causey’s legal secretary. Marilyn has 19 years of experience in the legal field. Marilyn moved to Wheeling in 2001. She attends the First Baptist Church in Wheeling. Marilyn has two children.
Ben Bordas
Ben Bordas is the younger son of Jim and Linda Bordas. Ben has worked for the firm during high school and while on breaks from college. Since graduating from Clemson University, Ben has performed many jobs, including investigator, clerk, photographer, but has mainly been involved in the many charitable activities of the firm.
Joyce A. Burky
Joyce is Scott Blass’ legal secretary. She has worked in the legal field since 1983. Joyce and her family are members of the Roney’s Point Presbyterian Church where she serves as church secretary. Joyce has a BS in Business Education and English. Joyce and her husband have three children.
Jeanne Dedo
Jeanne is one of Bordas & Bordas' file clerks. Jeanne and her family are members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Jeanne is secretary for the Wheeling Amateur Hockey Association and in the Auxiliary Board of Wheeling Health Right.
Patricia A. Fisher
Patty is the Bordas & Bordas network administrator. She participates in the creation of all of the presentations for mediation. Patty is a lifelong resident of Wheeling. She is a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ohio County, Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling and is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Cathedral Catholic Church.
Leisa Forbes
Leisa is Jamie Bordas’ legal assistant. Leisa has been in the legal field for over 16 years. She has a BS in Business Administration and an Associates degree in paralegal studies. Leisa is on the Board of Directors of Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Driving Fore A Cure Golf Classic.
Pamela McBride
Pam is the secretary/receptionist at the St. Clairsville office of Bordas & Bordas. Pam is a resident of St. Clairsville. Pam has an Associates degree in paralegal studies.
Rebecca Murphy
Becky is a medical clerk for Jamie and Jim Bordas. She has worked in the legal field for about 18 years. Becky was born and raised in Wheeling and attends St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Judy Pasden
Judy is the legal assistant to Geoff Brown. Judy has worked in the legal and medical arenas for 20 years. Judy is a lifelong resident of Wheeling and attends St. Michaels Catholic Church. Judy and her husband have two sons.
Virginia Price
Virginia is Chris Regan’s legal secretary. Virginia and her husband live in St. Clairsville and have one son.
Linda R. Scaggs
Linda is the bookkeeper for Bordas & Bordas. She began working with the firm in 1987. Linda and her husband are members of First Baptist Church of Wheeling, where Linda is the organist. They are both involved in the activities of the church. Linda is also on the Board of Directors of the United Women's Bowling Association.
Shannon Spigarelli
Shannon is the legal assistant to Chris Regan. Shannon grew up in Wheeling where she lives with her husband and two daughters. Shannon has a BS in Business Administration.
Darcy E. Springer
Darcy is the legal assistant to Scott Blass. She completed the Paralegal Program at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA. Darcy has 17 years of legal experience. Darcy is a member of the Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville and is a member of the bell choir. She is also a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Darcy has three children.
Eleanor Wallace
Ellie is Jay Stoneking’s legal secretary and also serves as the legal secretary to Chris Heller. She has a total of over 30 years legal experience. Ellie is a lifelong resident of Wheeling. She has two daughters and two grandsons.
Carla Lovelace
Carla is the legal assistant to Jim Bordas. Carla was born in Heidelberg Germany. She has worked in the legal field for a total of eight years. Carla moved to the Ohio Valley from Sweetwater Texas where she was an officer at the Texas National Bank. Carla has two children, two step children and one granddaughter.
Kay Leisure
Kay is a legal secretary for Jim and Jamie Bordas. Kay was born in Wheeling. She has 22 years legal experience. She lives in West Alexander, Pennsylvania with her husband and 14 year old son. She belongs to Windy Gap Presbyterian Church in West Finley, PA.
Retta Rico
Retta works for Chris Regan. She is a 2006 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a BA in Political and Economic Philosophy and is a member of Phi Sigma Tau Honor Society in Philosophy. Retta also works as a gymnastics and cheerleading instructor at Ohio Valley Gymnastics. She is a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley and a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church in Colerain, Ohio.
